Working Principle
When a flame propagates in the pipeline, it passes through the special structure inside the flame arrester, dividing the flame into multiple small flames. This increases the contact area between the flame and the flame retardant element, rapidly dissipating heat and reducing the flame temperature below the ignition point, thereby preventing further flame spread.
Installation Limitations
The installation location is limited by L/D (the ratio of pipeline length to diameter). Reasonable planning based on specific pipeline parameters and process conditions is required to ensure the flame arrester achieves the best performance.
